Choose two objects from my desk and bring them back to your experiment station.
Once you have your objects make a chart where you can record whether your object is a solid, liquid or gas. Also, make space to write what happens when you heat or cool the object and if the object changes to a different state of matter.
Go to the class Moodle site and download the example of a recording chart and a blank copy to make your own.
After you have collected all your data find a partner to make a short 1-2 minute video about states of matter. You also have the option of writing a song or poem about states of matter and what you observed or you can make a poster! Be creative and have fun with this part!!
We will share our projects once everyone has finished! I can not wait to see what my super scientists learned today about states of matter!!
